Services

Three services.

Analysis of business processes, implementation of AI and automation, and strategic advisory for the long term.

01 — Analysis and audit

AI & Automation Audit

Structured analysis of business processes. Insight into where AI and automation add value — and where they do not.

Most engagements begin with the audit. It delivers a factual, shared picture of business processes — including a prioritised analysis of where AI and automation have the greatest impact.

An AI & Automation Audit is not a technology assessment. It is a structured investigation into how business processes actually run — where work slows down, duplicates, and where human capacity is spent on tasks that can be automated. The output is a prioritised overview of opportunities for AI and automation, ranked by materiality and feasibility.

Process analysis

Systematic analysis of business processes — tasks, time costs, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation.

Materiality analysis

Three prioritised findings ranked by impact and feasibility — not by impressiveness.

Immediate quick win

A concrete action implementable immediately without additional investment.

Concise report

Findings, prioritisation, and advice on AI and automation opportunities in a two-page document.

What's not included

The audit is a self-contained engagement.

No retainer or ongoing commitment

No follow-on engagement unless requested

No commercial relationships with tool vendors

No AI recommendation without process grounding

The process

How an engagement works

01

Intake form

A focused form that maps the context and business processes before the conversation. Takes around fifteen minutes.

02

Working session

A thirty-minute conversation with the people who do the work. Not the management presentation of the operation — the operation itself.

03

Analysis and report

Analysis of business processes, identification of opportunities and bottlenecks, materiality assessment. Output: three prioritised findings, one immediate quick win, advice on the next step.

04

Debrief

Joint review of the report. Findings are explained. Next steps are discussed where relevant.

02 — Implementation and automation

Implementation and automation

Build and configuration of what the analysis has identified. Workflow automation, AI applications, system integrations, or process changes — applicable across customer service operations, CRM and sales processes, email workflows, document processing, and reporting. Technology follows the process analysis, not the other way around. Project-based, no retainer.

Technology only works when the organisation works with it. Adoption is part of the implementation — not an afterthought.

Scope and duration are determined based on the audit report.

03 — Ongoing advisory

Ongoing advisory

Continued involvement after implementation as a dedicated point of contact for operational and technology questions. Strategic thinking partner for tool selection, vendor assessment, process changes, and decisions around automation and AI. No retainer, no fixed schedule.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get started with AI in my business?

The starting point is always an analysis of existing business processes — not the purchase of a tool. ShiftSystemic maps which processes lend themselves to automation or AI, what has the greatest impact, and what is realistically feasible. Only then does a recommendation follow on which tools or approach fits.

Which business processes are best suited for automation?

Processes best suited for automation are repetitive, regular, and rule-based — such as reporting, invoice processing, CRM management, email workflows, and customer service handling. ShiftSystemic determines through process analysis which of your specific processes have the most impact when automated.

What does ShiftSystemic do?

ShiftSystemic is an operational consultancy for Dutch SMBs. The three services are: AI & Automation Audit, implementation and automation, and ongoing advisory. Most engagements begin with the audit.

When does an audit make sense?

An audit makes sense when a business wants insight into where opportunities for AI and automation exist — or when an investment is being considered and clarity is needed on where it will deliver most.

What does the audit cost and how long does it take?

The AI & Automation Audit costs €1,500, fixed price, everything included. From intake form to final report takes a matter of working days. A Quick Scan is also available at €750 for a specific, contained question.

Is ShiftSystemic vendor neutral?

Yes. There are no partner contracts with tool vendors. Recommendations are based on process analysis and what fits the existing technology landscape — not on commercial relationships.

What if AI is not the right solution?

Then that is the advice. The audit identifies where AI and automation add value — but also where they do not. A process change without technology may be the best outcome.

What happens after the audit?

The report is reviewed together in a debrief. The client determines the next step. Implementation and automation are available as a follow-on service — based on a separate proposal grounded in the report.
